Thanks for a great year of submissions! The photo contest for the 2027 calendar and phonebook cover is now officially closed. We’ve received so many incredible entries and can’t wait to announce the winners. Stay tuned for next year’s photo contest, where we’ll be looking for more of your best shots of people, places, and events in the areas we serve.

How it all works

Please read these rules (the Rules) before submitting your Photo (s) to Nemont’s photo contest. These are General Rules governing all contests hosted by Nemont unless specified in the Specific Rules that may apply to individual contests. By participating in the contests, you understand, acknowledge, and unconditionally agree to abide by the following Rules:

Basic submissions guidelines for photographs

The Contest is open to Nemont customers only.
Submissions will not be accepted once the deadline lapses.
Photos submitted must be high-quality photos. Some smartphone photos don’t make the cut depending on lighting. They look smudged or pixelated.
You may submit as many entries as you wish.
You must provide a unique title & description for each image submitted.
Photos that have yet to win previously may be submitted again.
All submitted photos must not have a border(s), logo(s), copyright marks, identifying marks, or any other visible references and/or marks on the image.
Basic editing, including color enhancement, filters, and cropping of the Photo (s), is acceptable, provided any such editing does not affect the authenticity and/or genuineness of the Photo (s).
Advanced editing that creates illusions, deceptions, and/or manipulations and adds and removes significant elements within the frame is prohibited.

The judging

Nemont will appoint judges for the Contest. This will comprise members of the editorial team and/or external judges.
The judging panel shall assess and determine the winning Photos. The results and the winners will be emailed a release agreement that must be completed and returned as soon as possible.
The decision of Nemont’s judging panel will be final and binding on all Participants regarding all matters relating to the Contest.

The prizes

A $50 bill credit will be awarded to the photographer who has the Photo chosen for the flip calendar cover, phone directory, and large wall calendar.
The photographers whose photos are chosen for the flip calendar will receive a $25 bill credit.

Intellectual property rights

Submitted photos must be original, created, and/or taken by the contestant. It must not contain any materials owned or controlled by a third-party for which you have not obtained a license must not infringe the copyright, trademark, moral rights, rights of privacy/publicity, or intellectual property rights of any person or entity.
Nemont respects photographers’ copyrights, which shall remain vested with the image’s creator. Upon making the submission, you grant Nemont worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licensable right and license to use, publish, reproduce, display, perform, adapt, create derivative works, distribute, have distributed, print, in whole or in part, in any form, in all media forms now or hereafter known, to promote the Contest, image, and photographer, or for editorial or educative use.
The Photographer will be credited wherever the image is used.
