Nemont continues to evolve and in 2015 invested $18M in its wireline and wireless systems. Upgrades included deploying a 4G LTE network in portions of the service area and a fiber build out in Hinsdale. Nemont launched the first gigabit community in Montana right here in Scobey, MT! The Scobey School system was our first Gigabit customer giving students access to ultra-high speed Internet. Nemont is proud to report that every school in our service territory is fed by fiber allowing our community educators access to the world at incredible speeds. Nemont continues to uphold the cooperative principle, “Concern for Community” by supporting the communities it serves through donations and sponsorships of local events and organizations.
Nemont contributes to local 4H clubs, supports the Babe Ruth World Series and Veterans Memorial in Fort Peck just to name a few. In closing, Mr. Kilgore stated, “Nemont is building more than a network and will continue to evolve”.
