The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a Federal Communications Commission (FCC) program that replaces the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program (EBB Program) to help low-income households pay for internet service and connected services.
The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) initiative was introduced by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to assist low-income households in paying for Internet service. The ACP Program aims to bridge the digital divide and ensure everyone can access affordable and reliable Internet connectivity. It is now easier than ever for low-income households to stay connected and thrive in today’s digital world.
The benefit provides a discount of up to $30 per month toward internet service for eligible households and up to $75 per month for households on qualifying Tribal lands. Eligible households can also receive a one-time discount of up to $100 to purchase a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet from participating providers if they contribute more than $10 and less than $50 toward the purchase price.
The Affordable Connectivity Program is limited to one monthly service discount and one device discount per household.
